gordon

gordon is a Japanese rock duo formed in 2019, originating from the street music scene of Nagoya. It consists of con on vocals and guitar and anmitsu on guitar and chorus. con’s fragile but powerful voice and anmitsu’s songwriting, rooted in a classic rock guitar sound, define the band’s character.

The pair had already worked together before gordon, performing acoustic material as con/anmitsu. Since forming, they have toured actively through Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka, selling more than three hundred CDs in their first six months. In 2022 they left the label ZIPNEXT and began working with a video production team on their visuals.

The band took a hiatus from July to November 2024 before resuming activity.
