NEK!

NEK! (read Neki) is a four-piece all-girl rock band formed on 10 February 2024. The members, Hika on vocals and guitar, Natsu on guitar, Kanade on bass and Cocoro on drums, each built a following on YouTube and social media before coming together out of mutual admiration. The name comes from the internet slang aneki, a reliable older sister.

Their rock sound paired with lyrics drawn from internet culture earned them the nickname slang rock band. Bassist Kanade is well known for her slap-bass cover videos. After a fast start with the 2024 single Get Over and the EP EXCLAMAT!ON, they held their first one-man tour TR!CK TAK!NG in 2025 and moved toward a major-label debut.
