TRiDENT

TRiDENT formed on May 1, 2020 in Osaka as the successor to Girls Rock Band Kakumei (ガールズロックバンド革命), founded back in 2013 by ASAKA and SERINA with two classmates from their high-school light music club. After original drummer JUNNA left in early 2020, the band took a three-month hiatus and returned with NAGISA on drums and a new name. The sound is J-rock with a hard-rock edge: ASAKA and SERINA carry the songs with melodic harmonies and call-and-response vocals, while the Drop-D-tuned guitar provides their signature, slightly djent-tinged weight. Their first music video Continue passed one million views within three months and now sits north of 4.4 million. The restart show sold out Zepp Haneda, and festivals like MERRY ROCK PARADE and COMING KOBE A.V.E.S.T quickly followed. Over three-plus years as an independent band, TRiDENT released a string of EPs (Under Ground, Reconstruction I/II, D-X, Dream Up, spice "X") and two full albums (Advance Generation 2021, DUX 2024). In November 2025 they made their major-label debut on King Records with the EP BLUE DAWN, which includes both the opening and ending themes for the anime adaptation of Potion, Waga Mi o Tasukeru. The lead track Reimei no Uta was written by Nob of MY FIRST STORY.
